What is Carpet Binding & Whipping?
Carpet Binding – is the process of finishing raw carpet edges by stitching a strip of material to the edge of a carpet or rug. Not only does this prevent fraying, it creates a beautiful look and feel, and acts as a stylish border to enhance any room. Prices start from £16 per linear metre.
Carpet Whipping – is the process of overlocking durable yarn over the raw edges of your carpet. Whipping tightly locks the fibres together to extend the lifespan of the material using contrasting or matching colours to produce a luxurious designer look. Prices start from £6 per linear metre.
